CO|TE

CO|TE means shelter and protection, themes that the two designers are reinterpreting from a contemporary point of view, for collections that characterize themselves through the refined and avant-garde designs, and are entirely produced in italy according to the best made in italy tradition.

CO|TE  is an e italian brand founded by Tomaso Anfossi and Francesco Ferrari, who both studied at the prestigious istituto marangoni in milan. Tomaso and Francesco met during some important collaborations, and their friendship became the basis for the co|te brand. The young designers presented their collections in milan and paris, and in september 2010 they were featured in vogue talents’ list of 160 emerging designers. In 2011 they had the opportunity to present their collection on who is on next?, a contest organized by vogue italia and Altaroma.  The creations by the two designers stem from a constant exchange of ideas, inspired by a curious woman with a lively spirit and a natural elegance. the quality of the clothes, the meticulous attention to detail and the unique but easily wearable shapes which easily adapt to the well-defined esprit of each women are the distinctive style of the brand. Geometric shapes are the starting point for each item; the choice of fabrics is therefore extremely important, as they must allow to maintain the desired volumes not only during the creation of a silhouette, but also when the items are worn. The overlaying colours in clearly defined nuances allow each creation to express a new concept of linearity, an austerity infused with a requisite touch of irony, for women who never take themselves too seriously. the collections focus on female silhouettes, re-establishing the natural and refined sensuality that belongs to each woman.
